So anything that is repeated like a mantra just kind of gets stuck.
So you are kind of almost rehearsing and practising it.
But it also kind of lifts us up in the same way that chanting at a football match or singing in a religious setting or even singing lullabies to children, music enables us to kind of often reach a different emotional state.
And I think there was a sense when people were doing that that there was just something that was connecting people who the rest of the time were just sort of stuck in their houses.
We have survived as a human species because of working in groups and working in communities and working in societies and music has been shown to promote that sort of collective action and to make us feel stronger.
